Tokay Geckos

A big lizard with a bigger attitude.

As the second largest Gecko in the world, Tokay’s are well known for their defensive attitudes, striking appearance, and unique vocalizations

Native throughout several countries in Southeast Asia, wild Tokay Geckos were heavily harvested and exported out for the pet trade and medicinal value. Thankfully, they have recently been given CITES II protection, restricting exportation.

As pets, their unique personalities, appearance, and straight-forward care requirements make them a joy to keep and observe.
